There's a running joke on The Country that we're all having a party at ASB Rural Economist Nathan Penny's place if there's a $6 dairy payout.
Is Penny seeing the funny side with the latest negative GDTA result? He's not too worried as he believes the dairy markets are takinga breather from the recent upward trends.
So in short - he's sticking to his $6 payout prediction. He might have to get some Chardonnay in for Mackay...
