The lifestyle property formerly owned by deceased multi-millionaire Tony Lentino has gone on the market for sale.

The 363 hectare farm near Wellsford sports a fully functioning airfield 870m long and aircraft storage hangars.

Super Black Racing team founder and owner Lentino died in 2016 following a 15-month battle with cancer.

Lentino was the driving force behind the creation of the all-Kiwi Supercars team which has competed full-time in the Australia Supercars V8 Championship for the last two seasons after making a wildcard debut at Bathurst in 2014.

Lentino became well known for his friendship with Kim Dotcom which sparked after the German internet entrepreneur used Lentino's runway to race his car.

Lentino and his wife provided personal and financial support to Dotcom and his family after armed police in helicopters raided their mansion in 2012, arresting Dotcom and freezing his assets for alleged copyright infringements in the United States.

Lentino was the first investor and chief executive of Mega, the cloud-storage venture of Dotcom, with Instra providing administrative support.

Lentino sold out of Mega and, as he battled cancer, sold Instra to London Stock Exchange-listed CentralNic for $35 million, with Louise Lentino remaining as chief operating officer at the Napier business in Tennyson St.
