Is the future looking up for dairy or is it all udder nonsense?

Is the future looking up for dairy or is it all udder nonsense?

Mark Townshend phones in from Chiefs' territory to talk farming and footy with The Country's Highlanders' fan Jamie Mackay.

Townshend is one of New Zealand's leading dairy farmers with farms both here and abroad. Does Mark see a positive future for the industry after a three year slump?

Townshend also addresses the effect of the dairy downturn on young sharemilkers and young people in general.

The ever-competitive Mackay also challenges Townshend to a wager on the Chiefs versus Highlanders clash on Saturday. Don't worry people - it's all for a good cause.
