CPTPP negotiations were "very, very intense and a lot of hard work and late nights were involved," but the work is not over yet says Winston Peters.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke to The Country's Andy Thompson today saying he is pleased with the progress made during negotiations but "ifwe'd have got there earlier, it would've been so much easier."
There have been reports of tension between the Green Party and New Zealand First over the supposed "waka jumping" part of the coalition agreement. Mr Peters admits he's not sure why the Greens would object to such political movements saying "I'll go and talk to them and see how we go."
