The Country: Bruce Cameron - The deputy chairman of Zespri reflects back on 20 years for the Kiwifruit growers cooperative and forward to the prospect of sales doubling to $4.5 billion a year by 2025.

Zespri's deputy chairman Bruce Cameron caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay today to chat about the past and the future for the Kiwifruit growers co-operative.

Zespri has been around for 20 years now. Cameron remembers the day it was formed and has an interesting insight on the controversy surrounding that name. He reminisces about the meeting to make the word Zespri synonymous with kiwifruit.

Other topics in the interview include a look at the kiwifruit industry, and Zespri's aspirational goal for 2025.
