If you're interested in 23-year-old Jason from Northland you need to go old-school. Rowena says you should probably turn off your mobile phone and "make eye contact."
Jamie and Rowena agree that this year's contestants are a varied lot with many different interests to keep prospective dates entertained.
Perhaps even a townie may be swept off her feet?
Next up we head to Fairlie to meet...
Matthew McAtamney

Fairlie farmer Matt is a fan or red wine so prospective dates will "have to know their Pinot Noir from their Pinot Gris" if they'd like to win this bachelor's heart!
Ross McCulloch

This is Waimate's Ross McCulloch's first Fieldays and he's a big fan of cricket so Rowena says "do not bag the Black Caps" if you're sweet on Ross!
Joshua Rushton

Interested in Josh? Then you'd better reach for the sky because he has a helicopter license! Not having a fear of heights would be the best way to this bachelor's heart according to Rowena.
Kenneth Veen

Get your walking shoes on if you're keen on Veen says Rowena. This dairy farmer's ideal date is a walk up Mount Pirongia. Don't worry - he'll take you out for dinner after the trek.
Scott McKenzie

Helensville dairy farmer Scott is a yoga enthusiast and loves the water. Rowena's sage advice to snare this bachelor is to "put away the Macca's".
Sean Richardson

Sean Richardson is from Taranaki and very proud of where he comes from. Rowena reckons if you wear "something in the black and amber" you will be sure to catch his eye this Fieldays.
