He has won two Rugby World Cups and been named World Rugby Player of the Year three times, and now Richie McCaw can add "World's Most Famous Milkman," to his list of accolades.

McCaw caught up with The Country's Rowena Duncum to chat about using a helicopter to deliver milk to school children.

Richie's Milk Run is part of Fonterra's Milk for Schools programme and the experience has been "pretty cool," especially "to see the smiles on the kids' faces," says McCaw.

McCaw reports that the children's reactions to having an ex-All Blacks captain in their midst can go one of two ways. Some young fans are overwhelmed and star-struck while others are "hard cases" who come out with "all sorts of things."

Farmers have also appreciated his involvement in the Milk for School's campaign and are "proud" to have their story told in such a positive way says McCaw.
