Federated Farmers Chief Executive Graham Smith caught up with The Country for a look at how New Zealand's primary industries are performing.
The Waikato region is very wet at the moment but that doesn't mean it's all bad news, with dairy co-operative Tatua announcing its $7.10 payout yesterday. Smith says
the dairy industry is looking rather healthy all round with Fonterra and Westland Milk releasing positive annual results as well.
