Mahe Drysdale tried his hand at gumboot throwing this weekend at the Hilux New Zealand Rural Games. The Country host Jamie Mackay caught up with him for a chat about his experience.
Drysdale found the gumboot throwing a bit harder than originally anticipated but he did get better after a
bit of practice.
Mahe has been learning about life on the farm recently and has really enjoyed getting out on the land. As a result, the Olympic champion now has an appreciation for farmers and their reliance on the weather.
