The Country Early Edition: Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs in the Bay of Plenty, Lisa Payne spoke to Dom George today about what's happening in her region.

Lisa Payne is Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs in the Bay of Plenty. She spoke to The Country Early Edition's Dom George today about what's happening in her region.

The recent good news about Fonterra's forecast payout for this season and next season has put a "skip in people's step" according to Payne. It also makes things a bit easier for Fonterra when they talk to their farmers because they can see that all their hard work is finally paying off.

Dom asks Lisa about the aftermath of the Edgecombe floods, fat valuation index testing and Lisa explains what upcoming World Milk Day on June 1st is all about.

Have a listen to the full interview in the audio clip above.
