Fonterra Chairman John Wilson spoke to The Country today about the dairy co-op's annual results.
Fonterra's 2017 Annual Results sees the 2016/17 season Total Cash Payout finish at $6-52 (up 52% on last season) and the Forecast Farmgate Milk Price for the 2017/18 season remain at $6-75 per kgMS.
Wilsonsays this is a "very good result" for the year and that it's "easy to forget" the $4.50 forecast total payout this time last year and the previous two seasons' milk prices of $4-40 and $3-90 respectively. .
