"It has been a white knuckle ride of a rollercoaster" says James Shaw about the months leading up to the election but "we're really delighted where it has ended up."
The Green Party leader and Minister for Climate Change caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay to talk about entering Government "for the first time ever."
James says he is happy to be "sitting outside Cabinet" as it gives his party a "wee bit more leeway."
Shaw also confirms the Greens' proposed nitrate levy is off the table and says "I don't believe that farmers should have anything to fear from this Government."
