Dairy product prices fell at the latest Global Dairy Trade auction. The GDT price index fell 1 per cent while whole milk powder slipped 0.5 per cent.
Rabobank's dairy analyst Emma Higgins cast her expert eye over last night's GDT auction with The Country's Jamie Mackay and said the resultsweren't entirely unexpected but were still "disappointing."
Jamie asks Emma if this season's forecast payment is under threat from falling commodity prices.
