The Country Early Edition: Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs in Northland Eric Morrison caught up with Dom George for an update on his region.

Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs in Northland Eric Morrison caught up with Dom George on The Country Early Edition for an update on his region.

Naturally the weather is the big topic for Northland. Eric says it has been a famine to feast situation and farmers have had to deal with no rain then a deluge which caused flooding in some areas.

Morrison is keeping upbeat despite being battered by the elements, the grass is growing and overall he reckons things are not too bad.

Fonterra's half-year results are out on March 22nd and will be "on the road" the following week to catch up with their farmers. Eric Morrison explains how you can find out when Fonterra is coming to your neck of the woods.
