Jason Boyle is Fonterra's Head of Farm Source for the Lower North Island. He caught up with The Country Early Edition's Dom George for an update on his region.
Calving season is beginning in Jason's neck of the woods and he updates Dom on how it has been going sofar. Boyle reports that farmers are positive going into the season but acknowledges that this can be a stressful time.
Dom and Jason discuss how stress can affect some people more than others and what to look out for if you reckon a mate is not coping.
