Fonterra's Head of Farm Source Canterbury Charles Fergusson spoke to The Country Early Edition's Dom George about the latest farmgate milk price forecast for the 2017/18 season.
Fergusson says the $6.75 payout is great news for farmers after challenging times especially with recent weather issues.
