The Country: We begin our series profiling the seven finalists for the FMG Young Farmer Grand Final and today we kick off with the northern region winner and the people’s favourite.
Lisa Kendall is the Northern regional winner of the FMG Young Farmer of the Year competition and she's already the people's favourite.
The Country's Jamie Mackay caught up with Lisa to find out what makes her stand out from the rest of the contestants. Turns out it's rather simple -Lisa is only the fourth woman to make it to the Grand Final in Young Farmer history.
However, Kendall isn't just popular just because she's a woman. She wowed the crowds at her regional final with an outstanding victory, winning four out of five sections.
Jamie Mackay wants to know how Kendall will fair against the "big muscly boys" in the final, especially considering (in her own words), Lisa "weighs less than most sheep".
