The Country: Peter Nation, the Chief Executive of Fieldays gives us an update on the big event coming up in June.

Fieldays is larger than ever this year with 1547 sites taking part in the big event. Chief Executive Peter Nation caught up with The Country's Jamie Mackay to let us in on how preparation is going.

This year's theme is "Leading Change" which Nation says is very pertinent to what they do at Fieldays. Health will also be a focus of the event, especially on being more proactive around key issues of rural health and wellness.

Federated Farmers is helping Fieldays with another main objective this year - bringing town and country together. Peter Nation explains how he and the Chief Executive of Federated Farmers Graham Smith have created an activation event which they've called "Fieldays comes to Wellington".

Have a listen to Jamie Mackay's full interview with Peter Nation in the audio clip above.
