Rick Burke has been highly recommended as a perfect candidate for 'Farmers are good buggers too' series. The Country's Jamie Mackay spoke to him today to find out how he's doing right by the environment.

Burke runs a bull beef, sheep and dairy grazing unit in the Katikati district.

The Supreme Winner at the 2014 Bay of Plenty Ballance Farm Environment Awards, Rick is also chairman of a group called Farmers for Positive Change.

Rick talks to Jamie about the benefits of wetlands, how he has protected waterways and whether farmers have a pollution problem or a PR problem.
