Head of Fonterra Farm Source for Northland Eric Morrison caught up with The Country Early Edition's Dom George for an update on what's happening in his region.
Fonterra has a collaborative water project underway this month. Morrison says the Integrated Kaipara Harbour Management Group has generously donated 18,000 plants to
help with the Living Water Programme which Fonterra runs in partnership with the Department of Conservation. The plants have been distributed to farmers wanting to do more riparian planting.
Also in this interview Eric talks to Dom about the processing sites in Northland, health and safety and an update on Fonterra's Grass Roots Fund.
