The Country Early Edition's Dom George caught up with Chair of Fonterra's Shareholders Council Duncan Coull for an update on the latest from the dairy co-op.

Duncan is busy with a new engagement programme Fonterra is creating called My Connect. Coull says the co-op did some farmer workshops and consultations where they were told farmers really want to be more involved.

With My Connect farmers will be able to set preferences for what they want to be contacted about, and they'll be able to learn more through webinars.

The programme will not only be online as there is also an annual conference for farmers to get together.

Duncan says the My Connect programme launches in a couple of weeks.
