There were a lot of younger contestants coming through at this year's New Zealand duck- calling championships but they still weren't good enough to topple Hunter Morrow from his perch.
The reigning New Zealand duck -calling champion took time out from his building day job to chat to The Country'sDom George about what it takes to hold on to the title for the third year in a row.
Morrow says he will step down from duck-calling and let others have a crack at the title. However he will still be involved in the competition, possibly as a judge or a coach.
Also in today's interview; Hunter tells Dom a few of the secrets of his success, and looks forward to representing New Zealand at the Maryland World Duck-Calling Championships in the United States.
