The Country Early Edition's Dom George caught up with DairyNZ's CEO Dr Tim Mackle for his take on the latest GDTA result.
Dr Mackle says overall the result is steady and generally farmers are happy with the current forecast. There is a still a lot of hard work to be
done though and Dr Mackle advises knuckling down and being vigilant about reducing debt.
Dr Tim Mackle also gives us an in-depth update on DairyNZ's recent Climate Change report and the South Island Dairy Event (SIDE) held last week.
Finally Dr Mackle talks to Dom about getting urban and rural kids together to get a better understanding of each other's lives.
