Jane Muir is a senior developer in DairyNZ's people team. She spoke to The Country Early Edition's Dom George today about the importance of health and safety on farm.
The people team at DairyNZ help farmers to provide quality work environments on farm and attracting people into the industry.
Naturallya part of this role is health and safety. Muir says most farmers need to prioritise health and safety especially at busy time of year such as calving when farmers and staff are working long hours and tired.
