DairyNZ CEO Dr Tim Mackle is concerned about how wet it is at the moment. Managing excess water after a deluge is an issue for both rural and urban people says Dr Tim, whether it be stormwater drains or effluent ponds overflowing.
The Global Dairy Trade Auction result can't beignored this week but Dr Mackle says it's only one event and it underscores the importance of "not taking our eye off the ball" when it comes to costs.
