Jamie Mackay started his interview with Dr Tim Mackle today with an apology.
The Country host grabbed the chance to chat to heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker and Kiwi rally driver Hayden Paddon before the Chief Executive of DairyNZ!
Dr Mackle has no problems being bumped back for such great Kiwisportsmen and looks forward to telling his kids the story.
Apologies aside, it's time to talk about the Dairy Action for Climate Change. This plan was developed in partnership with Fonterra and is "a commitment by DairyNZ to build the foundation to support dairy farmers and the wider dairy industry to address on-farm methane and nitrous emissions over the longer term".
Jamie also asks Dr Mackle what DairyNZ is up to for Fieldays.
