Nathan Guy is almost finished for the year and looking forward to spending time on his Horowhenua farm.

Before he leaves though he took time out to chat to The Country's Jamie Mackay for a review of 2016 for the primary industries under his watch.

Nathan Guy gives his review of the dairy industry and what 2016 had in store for lamb, beef, horticulture, arable farming, forestry and fishing.

Just to make things simpler Jamie Mackay asks the Minister of Primary Industries to give each industry a mark out of ten.
