The Country Early Edition: Media representation of the Government's recent waterways plan has one very important voice missing...New Zealand's farmers, says Craig Wiggins.
The Government's fresh water policy does not represent farmers and the rural voice has been lost in media representation says Craig "Wiggy" Wiggins.
Rural commentator Wiggins caught up with Dom George on The Country Early Editionn to discuss a matter which he believes is getting out of hand.
Another issueconcerning Craig is the Raetihi sale yard closure. "Wiggy" says this will be a devastating loss for the small community as the sale yard had glued the town together over the years.
He blames it on over-regulation and the fact that rural people are too busy trying to make ends meet themselves to finance their local amenities as well.
Finally Wiggy gives his opinion on the recent migrant worker uproar on social media.
