The Country Early Edition: Dom George caught up with Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs Canterbury Charles Fergusson today for a run down on what's happening in the region.

The Country Early Edition's Dom George caught up with Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs Canterbury Charles Fergusson today for a run down on what's happening in the region.

Dom and Charles take a look at the last three Global Dairy Trade Event results which are on an upward trend. What does this mean for the future?

Charles also updates Dom on what's happening in those areas hit by recent flooding around the Bay of Plenty. Locally in Canterbury, (and don't forget Tasman and Marlborough), the Selwyn River is flowing under State Highway 1 following a lot of rain.

Fonterra has a lot of events coming up for their farmers, have a listen to the audio clip of Charles Fergusson above to find out all about it.
