The Country: Federated Farmers Dairy Chairperson Andrew Hoggard comments on DairyNZ’s Water Accord.

DairyNZ's new progress report Sustainable Dairying: Water Accord 'Three Years On' was released yesterday stating that 97 per cent of dairy cattle are fenced off from waterways on farms.

Federated Farmers Dairy Chairperson Andrew Hoggard spoke to The Country's Dom George today to give his opinion on the report that Mike Joy has labelled a "charm offensive" by the dairy industry.

Hoggard says the report is a "good move" by the dairy industry to show the public what has (and hasn't) been achieved and how they're trying to tackle issues head on.

Dom also asks Andrew Hoggard to address those "cynics" who may see the report as dairy propaganda.

Have a listen to the full interview in the audio clip above.
