It's Super Rugby time again at The Country and this week our regular contributor Joe Wheeler has brought along a very special guest, up and coming All Blacks star Damian McKenzie.
McKenzie and Wheeler spoke to The Country's Jamie Mackay and Sam "Lashes" Casey about a bit of footy, butnot before the obligatory trip down memory lane that all world-class players are subjected to on this show.
"I don't remember seeing Lashes to be honest," says McKenzie who was forced to relive a game from earlier in his career where Casey's Otago Boys team beat his own Christ's College.
It should be noted that Lashes didn't actually play. He did however, run the tee out and was happy to remind McKenzie of this influence on the victory.
Once Lashes has basked in the glory of "defeating" yet another All Black, the boys settle down to preview the week's Super Rugby action.
