Greerton took a step back in time at the weekend with classic cars in the streets and people donning their best vintage and retro outfits.
Greerton Village held its first Vintage and Retro Fayre on Saturday and organiser, Greerton Village manager Sally Benning, said it would likely become a regularevent.
"It went really, really well I think it was a great success for our first Vintage and Retro Fayre," Benning said.
The fayre offered live music, stalls, high tea and even a vintage-inspired dress-up competitions open to men and women dressed in their best vintage or retro glad rags.
"The highlights were probably the best-dressed ladies and gents ... [and] the vintage and classic cars that came along," she said.
Benning said feedback she had received so far was all positive and while she was still to speak to others, she was confident the event would be held again.
She said there was something for everyone at the event and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
