Quality merino prices are up at the moment.

Quality merino prices are up at the moment.

Prices were well up at last week's Omarama merino ewe sale, which had a yarding of 6000 head.

The star line of the day went to Tara Hills Station which had a quality line of 6-year merino ewes.

A range of prices.

—Top merino 4- and 5-year-old ewes, Longslip Station at $129; top merino 6-year-old ewes, Tara hills Station at $161; top merino 7-year-old ewes, Glenbrook Station at $124; top merino mixed-age ewes, Tara Hills Station at $124; halfbred two-tooths, Metherell Farm at $128; halfbred 6-year-old ewes, Goldwyn Farm at $141; halfbred mixed-age ewes, Glenhays Partnership at $111.
