Fruitfed branches out

Fruitfed Supplies is buying horticultural service provider Shepherds' AgHort Supplies for an undisclosed sum.

General manager Murray Ross said the combined business would operate under the Fruitfed Supplies banner and be situated at Shepherds' AgHort Supplies site in Hornby, Christchurch.

Key staff members have been offered positions with Fruitfed Supplies and the Christchurch branch will become the company's second-largest operation in the South Island.
