Fossil Creek Angus sold well this week.

Fossil Creek Angus sold well this week.

A top price of $18,500 was achieved at last week's Fossil Creek Angus sale in North Otago.

Fifty rising two-year-old Angus bulls sold for an average of $8600, Roger Keach, from Carrfields Livestock said.

The top priced bull was bought by Lloyd and Ruth Higgins, from Lake Rotoiti.

It was a very solid sale for a line of quality performance cattle and there was a very strong gallery of buyers, Mr Keach said.
