Dom George caught up with Fonterra's Head of Co-operative Affairs for the Taranaki region Scott Walls. The Global Dairy Trade Auction is looking favourable for next week so fingers crossed it will come to pass and hopefully result in another rise in the forecast payout.

Scott also updates us on the loan scheme that Fonterra is running to support farmers through tough times. He reckons the best thing to do is contact them for a chat to see if the loan is right for you.

The #431AM campaign is going great guns and social media has been integral to connecting dairy farmers and also those who have no idea what life is like on farm. Walls reports on what's happening at 4:31am and also on how milking is going in Taranaki.
