The Country's Rowena Duncum catches up with DeLaval Oceania Sales Director Justin Thompson to find out all about the new milking system - the DeLaval Rotary E100.
DeLaval is excited to launch the Rotary E100 at Fledays today after a "lot of hard work" says Thompson.
The DeLaval E100 is designed for pasture-based systems and as New Zealand is largely pasture-based this new product will put the Kiwi farmer in the middle of the picture.
The DeLaval E100 takes what Justin calls a "whole farm" approach, saying "anyone can milk a cow" but farmers today are looking for more information.
