Dairy facts on the web

Students researching the dairy industry can now get information about bovine artificial breeding on the Livestock Improvement Corporation's website.

"Many requests for information come from students in urban environments who have little or no experience of farming," LIC communication manager Clare Bayly said.

"The website gives two levels of information to those students: the basic drivers for the industry, plus a comprehensive insight into artificial breeding, when it began, what it delivers, how it's done."

Bayly said the information was also available as a document, on request from the company.
