Cow killed in crash on State Highway 2 near Katikati

A cow has died in a collision with a car this morning near Katikati in the Bay of Plenty.

Police were called to the scene at 3.10am at the Tanners Rd and State Highway 2 intersection.

A police spokeswoman said no people were injured in the crash but the cow died at the scene.

The road was not blocked.
