We have an exciting opportunity to work for this dynamic and fast-paced industry. If you think this sounds like a bit of you...read on!

NZME is New Zealand's premier integrated media company, with a portfolio of market leading newspaper, radio, digital, video and experiential platforms that engage with 3.1 million kiwis' every week. In the rural sector this includes well-known rural broadcasters and agri-business journalists such as Jamie Mackay, Fran O'Sullivan and brands such as The Country (formerly Farming Show) and National Farming Review.

Our extensive rural audience enjoy our wide variety of products specifically designed to meet their needs and as part of our future growth plans we are now in the process of launching a new suite of innovative products and platforms to further enhance the NZME experience for customers who target the ever growing rural audience.

To succeed in this role you'll need to talk the talk and walk the walk. You'll have experienced understanding of how the rural sector operates, speak their language and know their customers, with a proven ability to develop and maintain trust relationships at all levels. That you'll have a sales and/or marketing background is a given, but ideally you'll have fostered quality networks in rural markets and related services/industries in NZ. We need a goal setter who can work autonomously, yet enjoys being part of a team of equally talented individuals with the ability to present and implement "surprise & delight" strategic concepts and proposals for clients. You'll need the drive and skills to uncover and grow new business opportunities, love a challenge and constantly be thinking outside the box for new and innovative customer and audience solutions.

In return, NZME can honestly boast the best talent in the market; we recognise the value of our people, products and innovation. We tell it like it is, reward well (a six figure income is realistic here), love a bit of fun and are constantly challenging the status quo. Along with all of this we're based in Hamilton - we're sure you already know the benefits of this, from zero traffic, to reasonable house prices and easy access to both beach and mountain.

So if you're champing at the bit to create multimedia campaigns with exciting new products and achieve amazing results - don't delay any further!
