The Olsen family of Argyll offered shearing of their ewes and hoggets towards refurbishment of the Waipawa and Districts Centennial Memorial Pool. The working bee organisedby Marc and Trish Ludlow had young and not so young muck in for the pool.
Kaden Elers (shearing), John Aramakatu and John Rata, hard at work raising funds.
More than $2000 dollars was raised towards Stage One, which is completion of the two pools.
Community Fundraising Committee member Pip Burne was overwhelmed by the support.
"A large convoy of vehicles left Waipawa in the morning and we were joined by more helpers throughout the day. Some even travelled from as far as Napier, all with fond memories of the pool."
