First spectacular sunrise over Herbertville Beach on New Year's morning.

First spectacular sunrise over Herbertville Beach on New Year's morning.

Experience what Herbertville has to offer:
* Open days Saturday, October 21 to Monday 23 at the camping ground. * Shareholder and lease options available.
* Contact Robbie or Rozanne Jensen on 06 374-446.

Herbertville Beach camping ground and it's surrounds are known as a special piece of paradise. Now you have the opportunity to reel in your own slice of this special Tararua paradise with a limited number of shareholdings available for sale.

Owners Robbie and wife Rozanne are holding an open day this weekend, from Saturday, October 21 to Monday, 23 to allow prospective shareholders to get the feel of what is on offer. "Being shareholder-owned is unique and an easy way to get into a beach holiday house at a reasonable price," Robbie said.

The seaside family and pet friendly camping ground has a rural atmosphere. And there's a country pub across the road which has takeaways on Friday and Saturday nights and if you get tired of the beach, a challenging nine-hole golf course is next door to the camp.

"We live in an untouched area and Herbertville really is off the beaten track," Robbie said. "The beach is so clean and pristine and you can still catch a fish off the beach.

"Herbertville is a small settlement 68km east of Dannevirke and about the same distance from Waipukurau which is very popular with families during holiday periods.

"Over the last Christmas and New Year period we had 280 people in the camp, it was a great atmosphere."
