Sheep and lamb prices have risen.

Sheep and lamb prices have risen.

Intense buyer competition and a shortage of supply saw prices for ewe and longer-term lambs rise at Stortford Lodge yesterday.

Several lines of good scanned in-lamb ewes also sold well. Some of them recorded percentages of 180 per cent and up to 190 per cent.

A small yarding of about 120 head of cattle also sold on a strong market.
