Levin was wild and wet on Tuesday with a large cattle yarding.

Cattle - Good rsg 2yr Ang Frx strs $1150, rsg 2yr hfrs $700 to $900, ylg F/H steers $650 - $715, Angus $580 - $600, ylg bulls $600 - $660, ylg F/H heifers $550 - $600. Sheep - ewes rwr $130 - $135, lambs $90 - $100.

2 year white face steers 232 kg - 510 kg made up to $1260 ($2.41 - $2.58), Angus cross steers 227 kg made $520 ($2.29) and Friesian steers 240 kg made $550 ($2.29).

2 year Hereford bulls 655 kg - 680 kg made up to $1800 ($2.60 - $2.65), Speckle Park bulls 440 kg made $1140 ($2.59) and white face bulls 385 kg made $1000 ($2.60).

2 year white face heifers 311 kg - 370 kg made up to $925 ($1.96 - $2.51) and Friesian heifers 355 kg - 360 kg made up to $750 ($1.97 - $2.08).

18 month white face steers 320 kg made $610 ($1.91).

18 month Angus bulls 320 kg made $705 ($2.20) and Jersey cross bulls 245 kg made $445 ($1.82).

18 month Friesian heifers 385 kg - 415 kg made up to $1085 ($2.10 - $2.62).

Weaner white face steers 145 kg - 185 kg made up to $735 ($3.35 - $4.49), Simmental cross steers 155 kg made $530 ($3.42) and cross breed steers 148 kg made $345 ($2.33).

Weaner Friesian bulls 139 kg - 213 kg made up to $815 ($3.56 - $4.32), white face bulls 150 kg made $550 ($3.40), Angus cross bulls 175 kg - 240 kg made up to $660 ($2.62 - $3.34) and cross bred bulls 240 kg made $680 ($2.83).

Weaner Angus cross heifers 220 kg - 269 kg made up to $625 ($2.33 - $2.64) and white face heifers 127 kg - 185 kg up to $570 ($2.43 - $3.08). Charolais cross heifers 255 kg made $615 ($2.41), Murray Grey cross heifers 106 kg $350 ($3.30) and Friesian heifers 230 kg $440 ($1.91).

Cross bred boners 394 kg made $550 ($1.40).
