Rongotea Sale report for May 30:

2 year white face steers 350-405kg made up to $925 ($2.23- $2.28), Red Devon steers 435kg made $1060 ($2.44) and Angus cross steers 355kg-387kg made up to $800 ($1.85-$2.06). Friesian steers 420kg made $865 ($2.06) and other beef steers 340kg-417kg made up to $985 ($1.79-$2.36).

2 year Angus bulls 560kg made $1440 ($2.57).

2 year white face heifers 425kg made $1015 ($2.39) and Friesian heifers 393kg-425kg made up to $990 ($2.29-$2.33). Cross breed heifers 244kg-346kg made up to $750 ($1.29-$2.17) and Jersey heifers 470kg made $985 ($1.53-$2.10).

Yearling white face steers 238kg made $655 ($2.75).

Yearling Friesian bulls 139kg made $440 ($3.16), white face bulls 323kg made up to $1060 ($2.57-$3.28) and Angus cross bulls 148kg-211kg made up to $500 ($2.37-$2.84).

Yearling white face heifers 145kg-305kg made up to $550 ($1.64-$3.31), Hereford heifers 220kg made $540 ($2.45) and Angus heifers 250kg made $505 ($2.02). Angus cross heifers 202kg made $530 ($2.62) and Friesian heifers 236kg made $460 ($2.62).

Weaner Hereford bulls 195kg made $550 ($2.82), Angus bulls 193kg made $520 ($2.69) and white face bulls 116kg-137kg made $490 ($3.00-$3.56). Murray Grey bulls 170kg made $500 ($2.94) and Angus cross bulls 195kg made $490 ($2.51).

Friesian boner cows 415kg-608kg made up to $1070 ($1.52-$1.85), cross bred boners 320kg-549kg made up to $910 ($1.25-$1.66), Jersey boners 380kg-470kg made up to $720 ($1.53-$1.55) and white face boners 430kg made $880 ($2.05).

Porkers made $100-$115 and weaner pigs made $60.

MA ewes made $146, 2 tooth ewes made $151 and mixed sex lambs made $72-$139.

Friesian bull calves made $190-$310, white face bull calves made $180-$280, Angus cross bull calves made $100-$270 and Red Poll bull calves made $180. White face heifer calves made $100-$330 and Friesian heifer calves made $100.
