The Bay of Plenty has recorded a solid period of sales for horticultural units and steady period for finishing and grazing farms in the eastern to southern areas according to the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.

However, there has been an easing of lifestyle sales in the region despite Bay of Plenty recording a 21 per cent increase in the median price of lifestyle properties.

Bay of Plenty house prices increase by more than $50k in a year

Nationally the Reinz All Farm Price Index fell 4.7 per cent in the three months to February 2018 compared to the three months to January 2018.
