Dashcam footage taken near Greymouth shows a company ute overtaking dangerously in the path of an oncoming truck.
The video was uploaded to Facebook by Greymouth local Jonathon Kerr, who filmed it while travelling through Ahaura on Sunday afternoon.
Kerr can be heard in the video shouting "Holy f****" asthe truck approaches. The ute manages to get in front of his car seconds before the truck goes past in the other direction.
On Facebook, Kerr posted the ute's registration number with the video.
The footage has been viewed more than 39,000 times.
