It sounds like an urban myth but when the weather is awful on the East Coast it seems to benefit the West Coast. Andy Thompson verifies this as his neck of the woods has been enjoying some sunshine recently which has been helpful for calving.

Andy also lends his expert opinion to the Olympics and leaves himself wide open for Jamie Mackay's relentless taunting about Thompson's physical stature.

More importantly how does Thompson feel about the GDT? Is he cautiously optimistic? Andy hopes that there is light at the end of the tunnel as rural people are hurting.
