A short week resulted in a short sale, reported Darryl Harwood of New Zealand Farmers Livestock.

3 year Hereford–Friesian cross heifers 610kg made $2.54/kg.

2 year Hereford-Friesian cross heifers 353 kg – 493 kg made $2.52/kg - $2.91/kg, Angus cross heifers 420 kg made $3.00/kg and Charolais cross heifers 335 kg made $3.16/kg.

2 year (run with bull) Hereford–Friesian cross heifers 434 kg - 382 kg made $2.55/kg - $2.60/kg.

Yearling Hereford–Friesian cross heifers 240 kg - 250 kg made $3.04/kg - $3.13/kg.

Weaner Angus cross steers 185 kg made $660, Belted Galloway steers 160 kg made $430 and Friesian steers 170 kg made $420.

Weaner Hereford–Friesian cross bulls 200 kg made $710, Angus bulls 300 kg made $800, Speckle Park cross bulls 148 kg made $580 and Red Devon cross bulls 105 kg made $360.

Weaner Hereford–Friesian cross heifers 105 kg - 170 kg made $430 - $595, Angus cross heifers 119 kg – 203 kg made $540 - $660 and Friesian cross heifers 140 kg made $450.

Boner Friesian cows 380 kg - 465 kg made $1.58/kg - $1.72/kg.

In the calf pens, Hereford–Friesian cross bull calves made $235 - $265 and Hereford–Friesian cross heifer calves made $250.
