This month Newbold talks to Mackay about whether a stronger dairy sector could rekindle interest in
property sales.
"Yes it will, but I still think some of those marginal properties are probably going to go into different sectors ... land use will play a big role over the next 12 to 18 months I believe, which has been historical over the generations."
A few dairy farms are being converted to sheep and beef but Newbold doesn't think this bodes ill for the industry.
